Can I set an automatic markup or margin rule in Droppery?

It is not possible to apply an automatic markup rule directly within Droppery at the time of import. Pricing management needs to be handled on your side, either in your webshop or via a dedicated pricing app.

Here is how pricing works in Droppery and what your options are:

• When you import a product, Droppery sends the supplier's Recommended Retail Price (RRP) to the Price field in your webshop, and the supplier cost to the Cost per item field.
• If you enable "Should sync retail price" in your Droppery settings, your selling price will automatically follow the supplier's RRP whenever it is updated.
• If you disable this setting, your selling price in your webshop will remain unchanged after the initial import — giving you full control over your own pricing.

If you want to apply a specific markup automatically, this is typically done directly within your CMS settings or via a CMSpricing app that calculates your selling price based on the cost per item.
