How Droppery works for retailers

2 min read · Updated 20 Oct 2026

Getting started with Droppery is simple. Once your webshop is connected, you can import products, sell them through your store, and let suppliers handle the shipping.

Step 1 — Connect your webshop

First, you need to connect your webshop to your Droppery account. Go to Settings and follow the instructions for your CMS connection (WooCommerce, Shopify, Prestashop, Magento, etc.). Once the connection is completed, you can verify it in the Connection Log. If you see an HTTP status code 200 or 201, it means your webshop is successfully connected to Droppery.

Step 2 — Import products

You can now browse the available products and import the ones you would like to sell. If you are using Droppery Selective, you first need to send a connection request to the suppliers you want to work with. Once your request has been accepted, their products will become available for import. Need help importing products? Watch the "How to Import Products" video for your subscription type (Selective or Markets) for a step-by-step explanation. Once imported, the products will automatically appear in your webshop as a Draft or Concept product, including:

  • Product name
  • Description
  • Images
  • Stock levels
  • Pricing information
  • Product specifications

Step 3 — Publish your products

Before products become visible to your customers, you need to assign them to the correct category in your webshop. Once a category is assigned and the product is published, it will be live and available for sale.

Step 4 — Receive orders

When a customer places an order in your webshop, the order information is automatically synchronised with Droppery. You will find the order in the Orders section of your Droppery account. The order is then automatically transmitted to the supplier for processing.

Step 5 — The supplier ships the order

The supplier prepares and ships the products directly to your customer. You can follow the progress of the order at any time by:

  • Going to the Orders section
  • Opening the specific order
  • Checking the current order status
  • Viewing the Track & Trace information once available

This way, you can monitor every order from purchase to delivery directly from your Droppery account.
